OVERVIEW
The USAID Privacy Office, in conjunction with its Office of Acquisition and Assistance, conducted a PIA of the GLAS. GLAS is the procurement system that automates the procurement processes from planning to award closeout. GLAS is an agency-wide implementation of a web-based, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) procurement solution. GLAS interfaces with the Phoenix Financial Management System to process acquisition commitments and obligations.

No notice of opportunity for consent will be provided.
INFORMATION SECURITY
Physical access to the facility is controlled through the use of guards, identifications badges and cipher locks.
Logical access to GLAS is secured by the use of user ids and passwords and restricted access to the desktop workstations from which the system is accessed.
SYSTEM OF RECORDS NOTICE (SORN)
A system of records notice is not required for GLAS does not collect, maintain or disseminate PII.
